LEMA Construction Supports Youth in Construction Technologies.

LEMA Construction was proud to bring the St. Petersburg High School Center for Construction Technologies Students on a site tour of our 48,047 sf. 3-story New Construction DesignBuild the Joseph H. Lang Sr. Student Success Center St. Petersburg College/Gibbs Campus. This tour gives Students a unique chance to see behind the scenes at a “live” construction site, to discover how the buildings and structures are constructed and find out about the diverse range of skills and professions needed on site.

The Center for Construction Technologies at St. Petersburg High School is a program that gives students the opportunity to learn a construction trade while in high school. The program is designed for students to earn both a high school diploma and industry recognized National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications at the same time.

At LEMA Construction, our job is to deliver the best work to our customers on every single job. We can’t do that without attracting the best and brightest workforce. That’s why we’re proud to partner with St. Petersburg High School Center for Construction and other institutions to inspire and motivate the next generation of workers by getting more students on our job sites.
